The objective was to perform the modeling of trunk sections through the cloud of points. The data were obtained in clonal plantations of Eucalyptus spp., with multiple terrestrial laser scanning in circular plots (400m2). The plantation has 2, 4 and 5 years and spacing 3.6 x 2.2 m. The registration of the point clouds was performed to allow the analysis of multiple scans in a single coordinate system. Subsequently, the trees were isolated in a semi-automatic way by Label Connected Components algorithm. The total height was obtained from the difference of the maximum and minimum elevation (Zmin and Zmax) for each tree. The filtering of trees previously isolated was performed using the FDmax algorithm, which allowed the application of trunk modeling using an irregular triangular network (TIN). The trunks were divided into 2 meters sections for the three-dimensional modeling and a posteriori were compared with the field data obtained by the conventional method. The volume obtained by modeling of de three different trees were compared with data obtained by Smalian method, the determination of the volume in the 2 years tree and 5 years tree until third and fifth log respectively presented differences smaller than 15% and below to the volume estimate by Smalian method that tend to overestimate de volume. And the 4 years tree only the first log presented volume below and with difference of 15% compared to Smalian. The main problem was in tree crown, which the branch interfere in process to obtain points of the trunk.
